British American Tobacco DBS KL Hubhas an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst, Master Data Management in Selangor
The Data Management team is part of GBS organization. The holder of this position shall report directly to the Team Leader. This role maintains and secures the accuracy of the Master Data SAP database. The holder of this position shall be in charge with delivering highest quality services at the requested level while aligning with the internal regulation and Master Data (MD) process.
Scope: APMEA markets and all entities in BAT Group currently with exception of non-TAO entities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
The following tasks shall be applicable, depending on the duties assigned to each team member:
- Creation and maintenance of multiple Data Objects in line with all SOX Controls
- Ensure service levels and targets are consistent with quality and timeliness, and that service is delivered in accordance with agreed TAT
- Ensuring timeless, accuracy and completeness of all Master Data; identifying and resolving data issues
- As a control operator, this role must ensure that Data Management processes are in accordance with the internal and external audit requirements
- Ensure a controlled environment in which all reports are accurately and timely rolled out, in line with all global standards
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to analyze information needs and functional requirements
- Perform data maintenance for Bi-Annual Data Cleansing Exercise, ensuring its completeness and accuracy, and safekeep the evidence according to control requirement.
- Ensuring accurate and timely update of TLDs (Task Level Descriptions) delegated by Data Management
- Applying, improving and creating tools for data maintenance process improvement;
What are we looking for?
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office standard pack (Excel, Word, Access, Power Point, etc) and good command of English
- Good knowledge of Master Data procedures is a plus
- 1-2 years of experience in master data management, data analysis or similar role
- Diploma holder or University Bachelor Degree; IT or Finance (preferably)
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and liaise with customers from various departments
- Good understanding of the control environment within GBS & across the business
- Good written and verbal communication skills; positive and well organized
- Good work prioritization and understanding of escalation trigger points
- Seek out and embrace change, adapting quickly and effectively to new situations and challenges
