What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?
1. Contribute to the development of and drive the IWS program implementation at the site, ensuring IWS work is loss focused and targeted for delivering Compelling Business Need (CBN)
2. Working with the IWS manager and the Operations teams, make adjustments needed to keep the program moving at the pace defined by the Leadership Team.
3. Use learning from Global and Regional teams and other benchmarks, to teach current phase subjects as well future phase capability required and ensure an effective integration of all pillars.
4. Ensure all the steps in Autonomous and Progressive Maintenance are rolled out and embedded in the factory including availing the necessary learning materials and training of the teams.
5. Ensure all IWS systems and tools are rolled out and standards complied with through regular health checks and feedback to the Operations teams

• Daily consultative reviews with teams/individuals in their small group activities to support elimination of daily/weekly performance losses in the factory.
• Touring one department/one team/one line to understand the IWS progress, execution status, help needed and reapplication opportunities.
• Coordinate with site pillar leads to ensure all current phase DMS’s/SWP’s are embedded to standard with an effective tracking system (DMS/SWP workbook).
• Conduct 90 day planning cycles for own pillar/systems and review for other pillars/systems for alignment to the site master plan.
• Work closely with site pillar leads to ensure site is receiving effective guidance/coaching and leads on best-in-class systems/tools for reapplication.
• Support site Pillar and DMS owners in driving good health of the pillar and systems through consistent health check reviews with action plans for gaps identified.
• Maintain the IWS organizational chart (Pillar Leads, Members, System/Tools Owners) aligned with IWS Manager and Factory Manager expectations and drive qualifications through E&T pillar.
• Alignment and maintenance IWS calendar to enable 100% attendance of key stakeholders to drive total employee involvement/ownership.
• Facilitate quarterly IWS pillar phase assessment and ensure plan adjustments are in place to keep IWS program on track.
• Ensure all the necessary IWS learning materials are available to local teams and communication of new training materials in IWS OTH.
• Coordinate with functional leads in establishment of current state of phase skill matrix qualification, development and execution of site training master plan to bridge capability gaps.
• Promote development of capabilities necessary to manage the controls environment in operations through Operations Controls Stewardship SWP.
• Facilitate annual loss analysis event.
• Work with Operations Leadership and Make Leadership team to facilitate annual SDDS deployment.
• Be the secondary contact for Area/Regional IWS leaders on site IWS progression.
• Participate in onboarding and early development of operations new joiners in terms of development of their IWS capability to current phase and role requirement.
• Provide publicity, general education and other communication that increase IWS understanding and accelerate progress across the site.

ESSENTIAL
Key Success Factors
- Embed IWS Pillars in line with current phase requirements as WoW with good health check scores.
- Embed compliance to IWS systems/tools standards with good health check scores.
- Create visibility of the IWS implementation progress and highlight the gaps that need to be closed.
- Delivering results through teams by ensuring closure of all the gaps identified during audits.
- Delivery of excise tax compliance and control environment to ensure the market meets its legal and regulatory obligations in full including requirements of the excise license.
Functional skills required
• Solid knowledge of LDR, ORG, E&T, AM, PM, LE IWS pillars with experience in shop floor problem solving
• Foundational understanding of Quality Management Systems
• Foundational understanding of Manufacturing Sustainability KPI’s and key drivers
• Mastery of operations strategy development and deployment in alignment with corporate strategy
• Program management involving cross departmental teams & multiple stakeholders
• Basic knowledge of key financial statements and links between Operations & Business performance
Education / Qualifications / Experience Required
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or any other related field
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good Interpersonal skills: Effective communication and influencing skills
- Leadership skills: Ability to inspire people, deliver confident growth and lead change
