British American Tobacco Poland has an exciting opportunity for a MSE (marketing spend effectiveness) Manager in Warsaw
This role will support to drive marketing spend effectiveness across the markets & categories supported by consumer insights. It also plays a key part in the digitalization and automation. In addition, the role tracks route‑to‑profitability drivers for all New Categories and works in strong collaboration with End Market teams, Area Finance, and the Resource Allocation Team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support in evaluation of marketing spend in Germany and all product categories to help the business achieve strategic objectives in the short, medium, and longer term.
- Understand & analyse consumer insights for each category to find out based on it commercial opportunities.
- Support in marketing spend methodology development & execution for key categories.
- Track route to profitability drivers for HP (heated product) / Vapour.
- Pro-actively contribute to the development of new tools & reports, which help to simplify day to day activities & deliver commercial insights.
- Close collaboration with Area Resource allocation manager to ensure the delivery of MI/CI targets on a consolidated Area level.
- Act as a SPOC for category leads for global / regional business cases preparation.
- Ensure compliance with Group SODA, Pink book and Marketing Governance Framework
- Support in AMP cycle preparation, drive new developments and implementation of new tools.
- Act as key contact person to collaborate and engage with category leads.
- Ensure collaborative and effective working relationship with key local and area partners and counterparts.
What are we looking for?
- 3-5 years of experience in finance or analytics positions
- Knowledge on revenue generation, ROI, profitability, managing servicing levels, key pricing principles and margin.
- Strong technical skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI) and ability to work with big data.
- Collaboration, negotiation skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to deliver end-to-end projects with tenacity and purpose.
- Resilient, flexible, and confident to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment.
- University degree and proficiency in English; professional accountancy qualifications (CA/ACCA/CIMA) are an advantage.
