British American Tobacco has an exciting opportunity for a Trade Marketing Executive in Sri Lanka
What You Will Be Accountable For:
- Manage and optimize a network of 1,000+ retail and wholesale outlets to achieve sales, distribution, and market share targets within the assigned territory.
- Develop and execute territory business plans, including accurate sales forecasting and contribution to annual business and marketing strategies.
- Drive trade marketing and distribution initiatives to achieve brand growth, product availability, merchandising excellence, and volume objectives.
- Ensure superior in-store execution, visibility, and activation of brands while identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.
- Lead, coach, and develop Sales Representatives, Merchandisers, and Supervisors through structured training, performance management, and field coaching.
- Foster a high-performance, engagement-driven culture by empowering teams and aligning individual contributions with business objectives.
Essential Experience, Skills and Knowledge:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized institution.
- 1-2 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or a related commercial field preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills, supported by a strong commercial mindset.
- Passion for delivering results, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and performance-driven environment.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and resilient, with a strong desire to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership potential, with the ability to collaborate effectively and lead teams; possession of a valid motor vehicle driving license is required.
- Proficiency in Tamil would be an added advantage.
