ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The role is responsible to manage the roll out of Area / Regional / Global Talent & OE initiatives and regular cycle plan activities.

Reports to: Area Head of Talent & OE, MESA

Reporting Level: Individual Contributor

Geographic Scope: Local

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Act as a Talent disruptor to build a future-fit talent architecture.
  • Manage in-market deployment and communication of Area/ Regional / Global initiatives and regular cycle plan activities through application of processes / tools / data / insights related to:
  • Leadership Capabilities
  • Leadership Succession
  • Learning & Development
  • Performance and Development
  • Acquisition & Recruitment
  • Your Voice (Employee Survey)
  • Change management & employee engagement initiatives
  • Communications & Engagement
  • Other OE and OD initiatives
  • Act as Digital Champion/ Technology Evangelist to exploit/develop avenues for a digital employee experience (focus on key talent touchpoints)
  • Provide commercial insights to enhance Area talent strategies, frameworks and processes
  • Refresh and develop the L&D strategy with clear initiatives and own the deployment plan
  • Develop strong Employer Branding Strategy utilizing multiple touchpoints (for example:  Social Media, Global Graduates program, Interns, Battle of Minds) and drive implementation across markets through an annual calendar.
  • Evaluate the impact of the regional/global processes on Area Talent and OE processes and business performance. Identify opportunities and challenges and recommend improvement actions.

 

 

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • A thought leader with proven ability to think disruptively
  • Solid rounded HR Professional, with proven technical skills and experience in Talent and OE
  • Strong ability to lead change and drive results in ambiguous situations
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the Organisation, and develop relationship with regional  / global Talent & OE team
  • Understands above market set up and way of working - previous experience in multi-market/region and/or in above market roles will be an advantage
  • Demonstrates ability to think and act strategically, commercially and operationally
  • Strong Project Management experience and prioritization skills
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and is committed to self-development
  • Tenacity, resilience to continue to deliver in times of organizational change
  • Experience of operating in a complex geographical / functional matrix organization
