PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

Operational/Professional/Business:

  • Achieve coverage call plan within the designated area.
  • Ensure visibility compliance to latest planogram plan
  • Achieve the distribution target set according to company objectives. i.e. distribution of “Must Have SKUs” in key airports.
  • Maintaining stock hygiene with a minimum write-off.
  • Execution of trade activities according to cycle plan activities.
  • Drive offtake growth in the designated area by identifying territory gap and opportunities and initiating sales drive programs that aligned with company strategies
  • Coach, train and motivate Brand Ambassadors to maximise outlet performance
  • Assist in the development of business plans for the assigned area that are consistent with TWC GTR strategies

 

Management

  • Managing self in maintaining call efficiency and effectiveness
  • Managing the payment process & comply with the company’s payment policy.
  • Manage the achievement of responsible volumes, in line with BAT’s proportionality reviews, to achieve budget. 
  • Ensure volume is distributed only to approved customers and channels and in accordance with proportionality studies. Manage the expectations of customers and distributors to be in line with the group’s anti illicit trade strategy.

 

Leadership

  • Provide constructive business inputs to operators who share the accountability of outlet’s distribution, OOS and D&D.
  • Provide coaching to BA/ operators to improve the business result and other qualitative results.

 

Relationships

  • Demonstrate good trade relationship with the retailers and to improve the service level.
  • To nurture good working relations across sales teams;
  • To drive trade advocacy amongst retailers and relevant business partners through solid and long-term sustainable relationships with them; and
  • To encourage and support good working relations between team members and helps solve conflicts (interpersonal or business-related) among sales teams.

 

Innovation

  • To continuously explore and enhance retail touchpoints for consumer engagement and provide feedback to the channel & brand manager.
  • To continuously recommend and plan new approaches to solve issues or improve market capability.
  • To effectively drive innovations and changes and inspire others to come up with new and more efficient ways of doing things.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

  1. Knowledge, Skills & Experience

 

Minimum Education, Training and Experience

  • Secondary education or University preferred; with minimum 1 – 3 years’ of sales experiences and management.
  • Ability to converse in Mandarin& English  (and preferably in Cantonese )
  • Ability to reading in English

 

Skills & Specialization Required

  • Strong sales skills and knowhow of Trade Marketing, working experience in Duty Free is preferred
  • Strong job ownership and agile to changes
  • Ability to operate independently and results oriented to achieve Business Plan
  • Ability to build good business relationship and culturally adaptable to effectively manage across markets and channels
  • Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skill
  • Reaches sound, decisive decisions to difficult problems by using an appropriate mix of insightful analysis, experience, intuition and judgement
  • Willing to travel frequently
