Job Purpose:

  • Develop and implement the trade coverage plan for the area, in alignment to the regional operations plan and brand and trade programs, to ensure the effective and efficient fulfilment of the brand, consumer segment and channel targets in the area 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • As a member of the regional sales team provide insight to regional manager on business opportunities and competition in the area and provide a periodical sales forecast to regional manager 
  • Develop and implement an area trade coverage plan and coordinate implementation of the brand and trade programs and route planning for area, to ensure fulfillment of objectives in terms of availability, visibility, volume, margin, product quality and customer price in the area 
  • Liaise with supply chain on finished goods stock level at the ASMO warehouse to ensure on time and in full product availability for the sales force 
  • Monitor, analyze and evaluate the sales results in area on availability, visibility, volume, margin, product quality and customer prices, take corrective actions to achieve the sales objectives and/or adjust planning and demand forecast where necessary 
  • Minimize commercial and credit risk in area and manage the operational costs against the agreed area budget in an effective and efficient way and take corrective actions where needed 
  • Ensure right organization, capacity, capability and motivation of the sales force in the area and ensure compliance to IMS and functional policies
  • Ensure effective implementation of EH&S strategy in the area and ensure compliance of EH&S policy & procedure 
  • Ensure the compliance of sales force team in the area to our Standards of Business Conduct (SOBC) and Guiding Principles (“Key Policies”) including training and implementation in all the activity

Key Requirements: 

  • University degree in marketing or business 
  • 5 years of experience in a sales role in FMCG of which 2 years in a leadership role
  • Proven leadership and commercial skills and experience in the Indonesian cigarette market
