Scheduling and Administration Manager

in Pécs!


You will be accountable for the creation of an optimized plan and the administration of its execution for the cigarette manufacturing site, which consist of the production of circa 10 billion annual cigarettes & its semi-finished good related production. You will have a key role coordinating all factory activities and possible constraints with regards to materials, crews, and machinery.


As British American Tobacco works not only locally, but in an above market supply chain environment, regional connections will be essential to create a schedule which maximizes operational efficiency for the factory.


You will establish and maintain the factory production capacities on strategic horizon and in collaboration with the Production manager, playing a key role in identifying strategic opportunities for the factory business planning.  


Overseeing that scheduling and manufacturing administration processes and functionalities of SAP & local systems are maintained through the application lifecycle and in line with business requirements will also be in your remit.


Key Deliverables:


  • Daily Management of schedule planning & execution controls & supply risks
  • Creating Factory Capacity Offer for long term planning – technical and crewing
  • Overseeing the Scheduling & Manufacturing administration process controls like Schedule optimization, Materials availability, Production Orders, Block Stock resolution
  • Management of UNIQUE PACK IDs according to production plan based on each end market legal requirements (ordering, reconciliation and usage)
  • People management – leading a team of direct reports
  • Driving continuous improvement of conformance to schedule metric and relevant process metrics


Your Profile:


  • University degree (technical or economical) preferable
  • Upper-intermediate level of English and Hungarian, both written and spoken
  • Project Management knowledge
  • Strong computer literacy: MS Office (Excel, Access, Word)
  • Understanding of advanced planning and scheduling systems (i.e. SAP)
  • Knowledge of planning activities: production /demand/ supply
  • Experience in working with internal and external entities/customers
  • Experience of working in a Manufacturing, Supply Chain, FMCG environment
  • Analytical skills and proven leadership capabilities
