BAT KOREA IS LOOKING FOR A Secondary Supply Chain Manager

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The role is responsible to cover the management of the company delivery assets by driving the effective, efficient flow of goods, services and information from the point of supply to the point of demand. This conduit role designed to link between TM&D and Supply Chain conducts driving value creation and the integration of Supply with Demand to achieve the corporate vision and satisfying service levels for a dynamic demand plan.

Lead collaborative planning and replenishment with TM&D to determine optimum distribution schedules, inventory levels and to reduce non-value-added stock (obsolete products returned from marketplace) of TM&D branch warehouses as well as time to move product across process area.

It also covers the management of all primary and secondary warehouses, which are 19 branches and 5 subbranches, by managing 3rd party logistics service provider and branch warehouse administrators and driving out cost savings and efficiencies through logistics network redesign.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Manage and co-ordinates activities to provide value added, commercially focused insights to the business.
  • Ensure delivery of Logistics target and execution without disruption.
  • Develop optimum inventory levels with rationale and support S&OP decision.
  • Hard commitment to collaboration and strategic connection with 3PL service providers for quality, cost and effectiveness.
  • Ensure all EHS requirements are in place with meeting the standards. Monitor and improve safety management including KPIs such as Energy, Waste, Water etc.
  • Design an efficient logistics network to best serve the customer, optimizing routes to customers and meeting agreed service levels.
  • Develop distribution resource planning (DRP) by building end to end supply chain perspective to manage the budgets related to all logistics activities.
  • Make sure targeted inventory in place creating positive financial benefit and comply tax payment process controlled under complete BAT governance.
  • Lead to reduce return and recall through participating in TM&D SOP process and carrying out causal analysis and target-setting

 

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or any relevant field.
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge in Supply Chain/Warehouse and logistic.
  • Broad experience in large global organization with in-depth knowledge in specific FMCG process areas
  • Strong influencing, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Open for mobility to work in Sacheon.
  • At least 7 years’ experience in supply & demand planning or similar dynamic operating environment
  • Able to provide initiative and proactive approach to the planning of supply and demand.
  • Ability to simplify complex situations and synthesis, communicate and present complex information
  • Highly proficiency in English speaking & writing and highly experience dealing with external stakeholders
