BAT TAIWAN IS LOOKING FOR A BRAND MANAGER

SENIORITY LEVEL: Mid-Senior Level

FUNCTION: Marketing

LOCATION: Taipei, Taiwan

 

 

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The role is responsible for strategizing, planning, executing brand initiatives (e.g. new product developments, campaign development, leveraging cost saving opportunities on product level, and so forth). Driving cross functional teams made up of members from agency, research, activation, trade, supply chain and finance

Reports to: TWC Marketing Deployment Manager

Reporting Level: Manages Self & Others

Geographic Scope: Local

 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Develop a strategic plan for your allocated brand.
  • Develop and execute an operational brand plan to meet brand objectives and consumer requirements: Propose changes to brand strategy.
  • Involve in development of sales forecasts for allocated brand(s).
  • Ensure appropriate involvement of agencies during the strategy planning and execution processes.
  • Ensure your Brand Executives are trained and motivated to perform the vital analysis and support the development/ implementation of brand programmes.
  • Propose goals and KPI's for brand programmes and track ongoing results.
  • Handle the full cycle of P&L and budgeting for the allocated brand(s).
  • Ensure driven product performance in defined consumer segments.

 

 

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Proven records with 10 years in marketing, preferably FMCG/Tobacco industry setting strategies and campaign for brand portfolio management.
  • Strong Data Analytic skills and Logical/Insights thinking.
  • Strong feeling of ownership/accountability and work towards results; Excellence in project management.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with business level of English proficiency; Excellent convincing and influencing skills to engage, drive and lead multi-national, cross-functional partners.
  • Experience in trade and consumer insights, implementing coordinated marketing campaigns.
  • Shown history of thinking strategically and creatively, developing practical and specific strategy and tactics to produce tangible results.
  • Strong experience of planning, leading and executing against an annual budget; Hands-on P&L management.
  • Resilient, flexible and confident to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
