PURPOSE STATEMENT:

Working with global and regional IDT(information digital technology) and business unit to identify business technology and/or business processes, managing capability expansion increments and managing multiple stakeholders towards new functionalities & best practice definitions are a few examples of the activities that will be expected from this role. Additionally, this position will be cooperating with various internal stakeholders, including eCommerce, Digital Brand Activation and other business areas to drive consumer engagement and satisfaction by delivering digital experiences.

TYPICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Lead / contribute to:

  • Establishing the contribution that technology can make to business objectives using a range of techniques such as eliciting & documenting requirements with stakeholders, conducting feasibility studies, producing business models, preparing business cases, usability requirements analysis and usability evaluation
  • Identifying and obtaining agreement on the requirements / features which will be most beneficial to the business
  • Providing input to and/or assist in
    • ensuring compliance with agreed best practices
    • preparing operational/implementation IT plans, budget proposals, resourcing plans and project plans
    • creation and maintenance of IT strategies
  • Identifying and raising issues impacting the execution of strategic / operational / project plans
  • Understanding the overall Enterprise Architecture and assess degree of conformance of existing and new business processes
  • Overseeing implementation of solutions – checking against the initial requirements

  • Enterprise Architects – understand overall enterprise architecture and collaborate to ensure conformance of to the architecture
  • Solution Architects -  collaborate on the selection and development of solutions
  • Solution Delivery – collaborate to ensure solutions meet the business requirements
  • Project Managers – contribute to project plans and ensure deliverables are produced to time, cost & quality
  • Planning – support the development of IT plans and budgets
  • Business Partners and Business Unit IT managers – collaborate on the provision of professional BA services in line with agreed priorities of the business
  • Business Units(eCommerce, Digital Brand Activation and other business areas) - drive consumer engagement and satisfaction
  • IT functional managers / Project Managers / Business reps – collaborate in the execution of planning and analysis services and delivery of required outputs
  • 3rd Party Vendors – non-commercial supplier relationships focussed on operational / project activities

 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE

  • Preferably with a degree in an IT-related discipline
  • Ability to interpret the business IT and functional strategies, understand the Group operating model, and the implications actions in one area have on other functions
  • Understand the background, issues and implications of company and functional strategic imperatives
  • Business-facing IT experience in a global environment with special focus in Trade Marketing & Distribution and Route to Market
  • Ability to land Marketing solutions underpinned by IT Technology and Innovation
  • Good communication skills and comfortable presenting to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile working methods e.g. Scrum/Kanban
  • Comfortable working with enterprise-level platforms and technologies

 

SPECIALISATION KNOWLEDGE

The focus of the role will be mostly on Consumer Activation with the following specialisation aspects that are  preferred in a candidate:

  1. Consumer Activation – must have the
  • Understand the Consumer activation models/metrics, CRM/CMS/Ecommerce/Mobile technology enablers to be able to lead or support core Marketing Activation initiatives.
  • Understand the  User Journey / Agile methodology, implementation experiences as advantages.
  • Create  business value through the use of CRM Analytics and Insights
     
  1. Analytics
    • Practical experience in BI/Data/Analytics including data modelling, data lake, translating data into usable value-added information.
  2. Agile Methodology
    • Familiarity with A/B testing or other multivariate testing
    • Advanced knowledge of Agile working methods e.g. Scrum/Kanban
    • Comfortable working with enterprise-level platforms and technologies
