ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Join our dynamic team where you'll be instrumental in supporting our Marketing team. Your role is to analyze data, facilitate account plans, and ensure smooth execution of key initiatives, encouraging positive relationships both internally and with external key accounts. Together, we strive to drive business growth and deliver outstanding value to our customers.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Assist in developing Account Plans and conducting Business Reviews for applicable channel/s.
  • Manage and nurture key relationships with both internal stakeholders and external accounts.
  • Analyze data to identify gaps and opportunities, facilitating implementation of Key Accounts plans.
  • Support Key Account Manager/Executives in executing plans and managing back-office requirements for efficient account management.
  • Ensure accurate reporting on account performance, compliance, and forecasting, including CSP reports.
  • Handle ad hoc requirements to support the Key Accounts team as needed.
  • Evaluate and process customer payments on time and in full, supporting the implementation of Key Account plans.
  • Handle compliance, transactional agreements, and third-party distributors to drive execution excellence.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Minimum 2 years of trade marketing experience in FMCG, preferably with BAT or similar companies.
  • Tertiary education in marketing/business-related field.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant software.
  • Preferred experience in account/category management and familiarity with space planning software such as Nielsen or Aztec.
  • Ability to develop and demonstrate strong commercial relationships, ensuring account contribution to achieving volume, share, and profit results.
  • Dedication to personal development and staying updated with industry trends and market dynamics.
