British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for an Internship Learning and Development (Fixed Term - 6 months) in Bucharest.
Operates as the Learning and Development Intern (marketing), supporting Romania Trade Marketing Skills Development (MSD) Manager in the delivery of appropriate L&D strategy through trainings, usage of different learning tools with relevant content both for Commercial and LMD Teams.
Supports Marketing Skills Development (MSD) Team in different activities and projects at Area level related to the Marketing Skills development processes.
Working relationship:
- Internal: Romania & Area Marketing Skills Development (MSD) Team, Romania HR teams, Managers & Rep’s (Commercial & LMD), HO relevant Trade, Brand & Legal and External Affairs (LEX) members.
- External: L&D Training providers, consultants, and agencies.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support Trade MSDM with learning content creation & adaptation based on identified needs and objectives using appropriate methods and learning tools.
- Support Trade MSDM with integration for all training programmes at national level.
- Permanently adapt the existing learning content (e.g. ed App - POSITIVE) to ensure that the content available for learners is up-to-date.
- Contributes to build permanent training support for new processes implementation, according to BAT Representative’s and Logistic Representative’s needs to integrate new knowledge and evaluate the level of understanding.
- Supports in onboarding process development and implementation for Commercial & LMD new employees.
- Contributes to the continuous development of Functional skills, Knowledge and Behavior in order to ensure individuals have the right capabilities to deliver effective operational results.
- Pro-actively engages with relevant stakeholders to ensure the right capabilities (competencies, knowledge, behavior) exist in the organization.
- Evaluate the efficiency and impact of training programs on the performance and development of employees, through quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Participation in Area-wide Marketing Skills Development initiatives.
- Considering that in the previous paragraphs only the main responsibilities were stipulated, the post holder has the duty to fulfil any other task received from his line manager that is related to his job.
What are we looking for?
- Knowledge of MS Office package (M Excel, M Power Point)
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Content marketing knowledge and experience in creative content creation
- Accuracy and speed in dealing with multiple tasks is a requirement
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize issues and tasks
- Ability to self- manage and guide within broad guidance received from line manager
- Proven ability to persuade, influence and build credibility with stakeholders
- Resilience / tenacity to deliver results in a changing environment
- Learning agility, self-development, and self-discipline
