Learning and Development Trade Manager

British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for Learning and Development Trade Manager in Bucharest.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Implementation of the Commercial Learning & Development agenda: engages all stakeholders to ensure all programs and applications are deployed successfully for the respective population.
  • Partners the global Talent Development team to achieve full implementation of the Global Trade Learning & Development agenda. In addition, provides feedback to this team, including appropriateness of programs, changes needed, considerations when designing programs and works to provide local context where necessary.
  • Develops, delivers and facilitates innovative local learning interventions that respond to local business demands.
  • Provides input into how End Market identify skills gaps against the commercial objectives to be delivered.
  • Enhances development planning by providing trends for new skills requirements or sources of learning content for Trade & Consumer Experience teams.
  • Partners with and supports HRBPs and Commercial Leadership Team: liaise with recruitment & selection teams to maintain a healthy talent pipeline and successful new hire onboarding.
  • Evaluates all learning and development activities taking place in their target population. Such evaluation should seek to cover Reaction, Learning, Behavior and Results.
  • Consult with stakeholders to achieve the most effective allocation, tracking and reporting of Learning & Development budget and resources.
  • Through effective stakeholder engagement, timely execution of Learning and Development programs, the person on the role should work to improve employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle from onboarding to the way learning opportunities are communicated and made available.

What are we looking for?

  • University degree.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Trade/Marketing roles and minimum 3 years’ experience in a managerial position.
  • Advanced level of MS Office package (M Excel, M Power Point) and good knowledge of other design tools.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English + Romanian.
  • Desirable skills: strategic thinking, attention to detail, proactivity, analyzing and formulating insights.
  • Available to Travel – up to 30% travel required.
