We are looking for a Supply Finance Executive who will bring innovation, creativity, and a good attitude to our team. This position is highly visible, integral part of the Finance team that offers tremendous growth opportunity.  Supply Chain plays a key role within the strategic agenda for BAT, due to the transformational momentum that the organization is experiencing due to New Categories conversion. This Lead Finance Manager role will business partner with a cross-functional team to provide value-added support in driving the growth of the business. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead product materials variance analysis, insights, and recommendations.
  • Be close to the key business partners to deliver strategical day to day activities (domestic tobacco procurement, farmers payments, OVH budget control).
  • Responsible to coordinate with key stakeholders (such as Procurement, Treasury, Sales) the main assumptions during forecast period and analyse costing variations (actual vs forecast), understanding and explaining main drivers.
  • Develop and present analytics to the organization that highlights business risks and opportunities.
  • Identify best practices and standardize where possible.                       
  • Contribute to Monthly Finance Operations Review by developing value-added financial insights and ensure month end closure activities and month end accruals are properly executed on time and in form.
  • Responsible of reviewing performance and documentation of internal and SOx controls and WMS control and follow up.
  • Provide leadership and coordination to drive continuous department/process improvement.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related area
  • 5+ years of experience in Procurement Financial Analysis, or Commercial/Finance Operations area.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Good understanding of product materials dynamics and strong knowledge of product operation and production interactions.
  • Ability to think strategically, with strong influencing, leadership skills and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of finance / analytics and demonstrate commercial acumen (main drivers for product costing variations)
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • High sense of urgency, work ethic, and must be flexible.
