WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Managing spend with external suppliers / contractors to ensure delivery of engineering services to internal stakeholders.
- Ensuring control on Procurement process as per company policies on sourcing and contracts.
- Administrative management of contractors at site.
- Management of electronic and paper records within engineering department as per company’s record retention policy.
- Maintain effective coordination with key stakeholders (Procurement, Finance & Legal) to derive results in a timely manner.
- Manage and enforce control on work order process to ensure high service level to internal stakeholders.
- Lead & inspire the contractors to willingly perform at their best, ensuring high levels of support to all functions.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers/contractors & service providing agencies to ensure a smooth & high quality delivery of services.
Knowledge Skills & Experience
Bachelors (Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or Maths) with at least 8-10 years of experience of sourcing & managing contractors.
Managing Sourcing and Billing in a reputed organization.
Has good knowledge of Environment, Health & Safety, Processing & Factory Operations skills, personnel administration and its governing laws.
Full appreciation of financial controls, budgetary accounting, government and other controls, supplier evaluation and legal requirements for contracts / agreements.
