ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?  

Supervise administrative and employee welfare services activities at Jhelum Factory to ensure full support to IRM in the compliance to all relevant legal laws & regulations. Supervise the Canteen and Fair Price Shop (FPS) Affairs at Jhelum factory to ensure smooth functioning and quality delivery of food items and services to our shop floor employees.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • To provide legal support to IRM in matters related to labor laws, its implementation and compliance with the existing HR practices at Jhelum Factory (Annual Court Case Returns & Liability reports, complete follow-up on court cases, and appearance in the court on behalf of the Company, with the lawyers, drafting court reply).
  • Responsible for ensuring support and implementation of all welfare activities and prevalent Company Schemes for Workers at Jhelum Factory.
  • Responsible for maintaining/preparing all the systems and related documentation required for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 audits.
  • Responsible for compilation and submission of all related returns under Labor Laws and EOBI, PESSI as well as periodic HR Reports, IR Reports and GM Reports.
  • Build strong networks and relationships with key stakeholders in Government Labor Departments like EOBI and PESSI to safeguard interest of the company.
  • Preparation of monthly/fortnightly reports on consumption patterns and price variations in the market, processing of contractor’s bills to ensure updated analysis and smooth payment process.
  • Responsible for preparation and monitoring of Canteen and FPS budgets to ensure minimum budget variance.
  • Preparation for local and international audits e.g., EHS, 5S, ISO etc. and ensure full compliance to all relevant standards & procedures.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

  • BBA-Hons or BSc.
  • 3 years relevant experience with Factory Operations
  • Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills
