British American Tobacco has an exciting opportunity for a  GTR Campaign Planning Executive - Combustibles in Malaysia.

We welcome you for an opportunity to join the Global Travel Retail business unit of British American Tobacco that comprises of global locations across all major airports and international transit hubs to facilitate the sale and marketing of BAT’s multi-category portfolio. Our vision in GTR is to act as an Accelerator towards a Smokeless World that shall play as a key enabler to the BAT Group mandate of A Better Tomorrow.

For our FMC (Factory Manufactured Cigarettes) portfolio it is our globally driven powerhouse brands like Dunhill, Kent, Pall Mall & Rothmans – it is an opportunity to bring the brand experience to life via multiple touchpoints, creating unique consumer moments via 121 interactions and designing consumer offers that provide the best value to our beloved consumers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  •  Adapt FMC campaign plans and materials to meet local market needs, ensuring alignment with brand strategy.
  • Coordinate the execution of FMC campaigns by managing touchpoints, POSM adaptations, and terminal displays.
  • Work with the Consumer Experience Team to deploy campaign toolkits effectively across various markets.
  • Develop consumer journey elements tailored to each market for a seamless and engaging experience.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment between Category, CX, and Trade teams to support campaign goals.
  • Gather market insights and feedback to enhance campaign relevance and effectiveness.
  • Monitor campaign implementation, tracking progress and alignment with objectives and SLAs.
  • Conduct research on trends and behaviors to identify potential improvements and assist in evaluating campaign performance.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing or trade roles, with a focus on brand and campaign management.
  • Strong background in managing creative agencies and overseeing brand management.
  • Excellent project management skills with an ability to coordinate multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to engage stakeholders across regions and time zones.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data to drive improvements.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
