British American TobaccoRomania has an exciting opportunity for a Material Technologist in Ploiesti.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Approves development or changes in the materials from factory perspective.
- Analyses technical specifications of the new/ modified machines to align material specifications with machine capability.
- Coordinates regional initiatives related with material complexity reduction.
- Assures support for new product development/ transfers to & from factory by analysing the material specifications.
- Monitors the material runnability to identify and solve the problems associated with materials/ machines/ operators/ suppliers.
- Measures the supplier performance.
- Creates the material nonconformity reports and notifies the suppliers about all nonconformities.
- Ensure that the claims are solved (Corrective and preventive actions are communicated and implemented by suppliers).
What are we looking for?
- High school graduate (mechanical or technical)
- At least one year experience with data base operation role.
- Good PC skills.
- Experience with ERP (“Material management” / “Production planning” / “Specifications and Bill of materials”)
- Medium level of English knowledge.
