BAT HONDURAS IS LOOKING FOR A BRAND DEPLOYMENT EXECUTIVE

SENIORITY LEVEL: Junior Manager

FUNCTION: Marketing – Trade Marketing & Distribution

LOCATION: San Pedro Sula, Honduras

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

This role is responsible to develop the potential of assigned Brand/s by developing, communicating, and implementing strategies passionate about brand strategy, trade strategy and consumer engagement activities.

Reports to: Marketing Deployment Manager

Geographic Scope: El Salvador

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Define local marketing mix elements execution (promotion, price management and distribution) for vaping Brand.
  • Supervise the definition of brand vision, strategy, positioning and marketing mix including pack and product specification and communications, according to the Consumer Group strategy.
  • Support the brand and consumer engagement strategies to ensure that Brand objectives are achieved, on site validation as a key driver of success.
  • Support the shaping of brand Strategies. Assist in the development of touchpoint solutions as agreed, within the guidelines.
  • Define strategies by analysing market research data in order to understand Brand issues and market opportunities.
  • Keep track of product quality and evolution according to metrics (e.g. consumer complaints).
  • Monitor Brand strategy initiatives such as product launch and new product introductions
  • Define Online Channel strategies and align different internal and external stakeholders with a constant tracking of results.
  • Monitor external agencies to ensure day-to-day activities related to the brand strategy plan are performed with required quality and agreed cost & timescales as defined in operational Brand plan.
  • Define strategy for ecommerce including the monitoring of ecommerce performance starting with the consumer experience on the site to the delivery and costumer care experience.
  • Handle communications between Area team, Brand Marketing, Marketing Deployment and Operations to ensure the cycle plan is effectively executed and Brand programmes are effectively implemented in the distributor.
  • Handle local approval processes with brand agents like LEX team & Global Brand Guardians.
  • Monitor implementation and results of operational Brand plan. Recommend changes to Brand Programmes
  • Monitor B2B strategy towards brand plans through idea generation and site validation. 
  • Adhere to the Brand Governance matrix, seeking appropriate governance and oversight in line with the portfolio positioning.
  • Monitor and report Brand expenditure to ensure it does not exceed budget defined in operational Brand plan.
  • Commit to Global IMP´s.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor's Degree required, related to marketing.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
  • 3 – 4 years of consolidated experience in brand/trade marketing.
  • Solid understanding of Strategic Planning & Insights.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with external Suppliers.
  • Product proficiency, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
