British American Tobacco Bosnia and Herzegovina is looking for a talented and brilliant Activation Manager, to join the Marketing team based in Sarajevo

As an Activation Manager in our team, you will lead the development and implementation of the marketing strategy in line with company objectives, while ensuring an efficient and effective operation to deliver the defined strategy through a capable and motivated marketing organization.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and deploy, alongside with the Head of Activation, Brand teams and Commercial teams, the consumer activation plan for the designated categories, including:
    • Ensure excellence in execution of the activation plans.
    • Manage all touchpoints of a campaign: Point of Sales, Digital, Social Media, Content Creators, CRM, D2C (events, HoReCa, trials outside tobacconists), whenever applicable and in line with the BAT policies.
    • Manage marketing and activation agencies,
    • Manage Budgets
    • Support the development of Business Cases
    • Own the Cycle Plan across markets in collaboration with SEA Brand, Team and Activation teams
    • Coordinate the materials adaptation to the local market needs
    • Engage with Legal, Product, Trade and other key stakeholders
  • Be analytical and integrate market, consumer, and customer insights across, being a key driver of the formulation of the marketing strategy and plans for the country.
  • Follow and track the performance and identify and address the opportunities.
  • Be the main point of contact from the End Market (BiH) on the Marketing Projects and New Product Initiatives (NPI’s)

What are we looking for?

  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing, Master’s Degree is a plus
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in a reputable and progressive tobacco or similar FMCG company in Marketing and Brand teams
  • Experience in leading teams demonstrating solid leadership skills, enabling high performance in a great working environment that supports team’s development
  • Strong experience in and understanding of business management, product development, trade and consumer insights, communication strategy.
  • Data sensitivity & analytical thinking with excellent attention to detail, understanding consumer and market needs;
  • Advanced knowledge of the Office Package, especially Excel
  • Creative and confident with a positive attitude, strong influencing skills and desire to work collaboratively with a team;
  • Fluency in English language.
