British American Tobacco  Poland  has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Category Manager in Warsaw

As a Senior Category Manager you will be responsible to lead development of a driven cycle plan to grow the category for the respective End Marked  while being aligned with company plan target.

You will also own category P&L and be the Voice of the End Market in the Area Category Team ensuring End Market brand needs and gaps are catered for.

Finally among the role objectives, you will need to ensure activities performance in line with Category targets and define measures if required.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Full responsibility of deploying the brand & portfolio strategy into the respective EM.
  • Define projects to translate the Category strategy on the Market. Drive the project elaboration and implementation in coordination & collaboration with BAT internal partners and external agencies. Monitor performance and initiate measures in case of deviations from the project plan and following changed parameters.
  • Participate to the planning process and proactive development of pricing, forecasting, steering of merchandise, distribution and product development for the respective Market.
  • Identify and understand market trends in close collaboration with SP&I. Analyze market data and monitor consumer behaviors to build market relevant insights. See opportunities for the brand and infer the appropriate marketing action.
  • Lead the project budget and initiate counteraction in case of deviations. Develop and implement countermeasures in collaboration with Commercial Finance & End Market.
  • Drive ongoing evaluation of agencies. Brief and coordinate agencies in the implementation of assigned brand projects to promote the brand.
  • Represent the brand as a brand ambassador on internal panels. Represent the brand concerns within BAT, and proactively share standard methodology within the area of Brand Marketing.
  • Guide, motivate, evaluate and develop the reporting employees in all technical issues.
  • In terms of working relationships, internally you will be working with the Area Category Teams, with the Trade Marketing & Distribution, Consumer Activation, Commercial Finance, SP&I, LEX, Procurement and HR; externally you will be working with the Agency.
