REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Compliance & Services Sr Manager in Winston Salem, NC

This role is responsible for the management of Procurement processes, policy, and compliances, as well as any risk control mitigation activities related to the procurement of Indirect Services & Goods, and Direct Materials. Responsible for developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and any procurement Work Instructions (WI). This role is the key contact point and liaison with Internal Audits, Finance, Global Procurement Excellence and GBS in all topics related to Procurement controls, policies, procedures, continues improvements, tactical and strategic processes as well as Procurement governance management. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining Procurement training, while supporting Procurement leadership and its overall direction, communications, and announcements.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead Procurement Continuous Improvement processes, including running focus groups, trainings and being the key role championing, leading procurement process deployment in the business.
  • Responsible for building training materials and delivering ongoing training to the Procurement team as well as to the Business functions with regards to Procurement policy and processes, 
  • Responsible for supporting Procurement Excellence Director in the definition and alignment of Procurement Excellence Line of Sight and plans; as well support the delivery of the Procurement landscape and roadmap its progress and visibility.
  • Responsible for driving, from Procurement side, the implementation and utilization of all Procurement data and systems including strategic sourcing system, contract management system, spend analytics applications, supplier information system, Procurement SharePoint, and Procurement’s utilization of system applications such as SAP, Teams Repositories and Channels, Coupa, iCertis, etc.  
  • Conduct business process analysis and documentation, through internal and external benchmarking, to develop and implement improvement in processes and systems, as well to evaluate of tools and applications to enhance the overall effectiveness of the Procurement team.
  • Consolidate and provide tracking/reporting on the Procurement Strategy roadmap progress while making updates/recommendations to the Procurement Leadership Team (PLT). 
  • Define Performance Objectives for their direct report, in alignment with Procurement Excellence Director, as well with Procurement function objectives, while providing ongoing follow up and feedback.
  • Maintain relationships and serve as liaison with internal and external cross-functional teams such LEX, Operations, Finance, DBS, GBS, Internal Audit, Communication/Hub/SharePoint Admin, as well as with Business Users and functional partners for overall communication, process, and compliance alignment. 

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Science, Engineering or Business Management, or related field and 7-10 years of experience Or Post Graduate Degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or related field and 7+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency with SAP; Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI, etc.).                 
  • Proficiency in a Contract Lifecycle Management application (iCertis); eRFX applications (Coupa)                
  • Digital and technology savvy. Project management and personnel management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively upwards and downwards throughout the organization applying key tools and programs.  The ability to influence and inspire changewhile ensuring execution.
