British American Tobacco Croatia has an exciting opportunity for a Senior HRBP to join our team in Zagreb

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Drive key people operation processes across the employee life cycle in collaboration with Centers of Excellence (COEs) such as Talent, Rewards, and Global Business Services, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with business needs.
  • Lead and support key HR projects focusing on talent management, including the Performance Management and Talent Review cycles, ensuring high-quality data and insights are provided to guide leadership decisions for global line functions.
  • Drive Reward-related processes such as merit salary reviews, bonus schemes, and role profile updates, while analyzing, recommending, and implementing competitive remuneration packages that align with organizational goals.
  • Support employee relations initiatives, including grievance resolution, employee engagement, and coaching, fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture.
  • Lead and facilitate change management activities and organizational design (OD) transformations, ensuring smooth transitions and optimal alignment between structure and strategy within respective functions.
  • Coach line managers and business leaders on people processes, policies, and procedures, ensuring adherence to best practices and legal requirements.

What are we looking for?

  • University degree. Masters or Post-Graduate Education and/or evidence of continuous leadership development 
  • Minimum of five to seven years of experience in progressively responsible roles within human resources, including human resources business partner or “generalist” roles.
  • Knowledgeable in leading edge business practices, trends, and information; aware of reward and benefits strategies.
  • Strong conceptual thinker with an ability to analyze and grasp the broader picture; Possesses an inquisitive nature; People Data Analytics / Strong Analytical thinking and Talent Management principles/succession planning.
  • Previous experience as HR BP/ Generalist side of HR in preferably in FMCG Companies.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a constantly changing environment and strong people leadership skills, ability to influence partner with senior managers.
  • Understanding of HR processes and procedures along with initiative and proactive approach to delivery of quality HR Business Partnership.
  • Project Management / OD Change Transformation
