British American Tobacco Bangladesh has an exciting opportunity for a 3P Management- Project Manager
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee and improve operations of outsourced/contractual workers in factory and warehouse.
- Map existing workflows involving 3rd-party contractual workers across factory and warehouse value streams. Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and compliance risks using value stream mapping and other IWS tools.
- Support and train suppliers to build stronger workforce management practices.
- Ensure all suppliers follow labour laws, contracts, and company policies.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, unions, and suppliers to keep workforce changes smooth.
- Build positive relationships with union leaders and resolve issues proactively.
- Monitor supplier performance through audits, scorecards, and worker feedback.
- Help suppliers implement onboarding, performance reviews, and grievance handling.
- Drive engagement and motivation initiatives for 3rd‑party workers.
- Partner with Procurement and Legal to manage contracts and supplier governance.
What are we looking for?
- Strong knowledge of manpower contracting models, labour supply management, and cost structures.
- Solid understanding of labour law, statutory requirements, and compliance frameworks.
- Deep familiarity with factory and warehouse operations, including shop floor workflows and logistics.
- Expertise in process improvement tools such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and IWS.
- Proven ability to manage and influence diverse stakeholders (Factory, HR, Legal, CBA, suppliers).
- Empathy and maturity in handling worker challenges and sensitive labour issues.
- 7–10 years of experience in factory operations, supply chain, warehousing, or vendor management.
- Background in labour intensive manufacturing or large-scale warehouse operations (preferred).
- Hands on experience with 3rd party supplier management and union collaboration (preferred).
- Experience in managing KPIs, governance, and performance programs for suppliers and CBAs.
