British American Tobacco Bangladesh has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Executive
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support the operation and maintenance of factory facilities, buildings, infrastructure, and utilities to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
- Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for facility assets and services.
- Manage contractor and vendor activities while ensuring compliance with safety standards and Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements.
- Monitor facility Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), maintenance costs, and service delivery performance.
- Support utility operations including Water Systems, Compressed Air Systems, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems, Drainage Systems, Electrical Distribution Systems, and Fire Protection Systems.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, environmental requirements, and company facility management standards.
- Coordinate workplace improvement projects, facility upgrades, and infrastructure modifications.
- Maintain engineering documentation, facility drawings, maintenance records, compliance registers, and service contracts.
- Support budget management, purchase requisitions, contractor invoices, and payment certification processes.
- Conduct facility inspections and identify opportunities for continuous improvement, reliability enhancement, and cost optimization.
- Support emergency preparedness, business continuity planning, and incident management activities.
- Drive sustainability initiatives focusing on energy efficiency, water conservation, waste reduction, and resource optimization.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Facilities Management, Utilities Operations, Building Services, Engineering Maintenance, or Manufacturing Operations.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or factory environment.
- Knowledge of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Electrical Distribution, Water Treatment, Fire Protection, and Compressed Air Systems.
- Experience managing contractors, vendors, and service providers.
- Familiarity with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) standards and Permit-to-Work (PTW) processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM), Industrial and Financial Systems (IFS), or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) will be an advantage.
- Exposure to Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) projects, sustainability initiatives, and continuous improvement programs is preferred.
