REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Manager Compensation in Winston-Salem, NC
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintain standard compensation structure within the headcount budgeting platform (BPC HR). Account for differing populations by maintaining different scenarios within the headcount budgeting tool. Input cost assumptions provided by Finance, including but not limited to overtime, relocation, geographic wage differentials, and contract workforce costs.
- Provide cross-functional support and administrative guidance for HR Business Partners regarding headcount budgeting tracking throughout the fiscal year. Facilitate the kickoff and submission periods for the headcount budgeting cycles by working with HR Business Partners. Will also be serving as the liaison for the Global HR BPC team.
- Tracking and calculating quarterly projected results for corporate bonus accruals and distribution to Finance.
- Responsible for total employment cost (TEC) report design, calculation, and tracking. Provide support and analysis for various total employment cost scenarios regarding annual salary budgets.
- Support the Sr. Manager Compensation by providing compensation related information to Finance, including cost estimates related to base pay, short term and long-term incentives and explanation of changes between periods.
- Assist in the reconciliation and tracking of the Company’s long-term incentive plan and providing monthly results to Finance.
- Assist in the administration and efficient execution of the company’s long-term incentive (LTI) plans, including LTI grants and periodic vesting activities in accordance with Plan Documents.
- Support the Compensation Team in key projects, programs, and initiatives, as necessary.
- Lead International Assignee HRIS Input functionality while working closely with the Global HR services team, EY, and payroll team to ensure accuracy in International Assignee payroll
- Provide cross functional support and guidance for HR Business Partners in US as well as other markets regarding recharging International Assignee costs.
What are we looking for?
- Strong finance background, CPA or CCP Certification preferred but not required
- 2-3+ years of HR budgeting experience, specific emphasis on rewards and preferred employee headcount.
- Exceptional problem solving/decision making skills and intellectual curiosity.
- Demonstrated track record of successful partnering/collaborating within and across multiple functions and levels within the company.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently execute in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to research and analyze data drawn from multiple sources to make effective recommendations.
- Project management skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficient in the use of office technologies (MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) – Advanced skill with MS Excel spreadsheets and formulas.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred

- 401(k) plan that offers opportunity to save on pre- and post-tax basis up to 50 percent of eligible compensation.
