REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Formula Mix Specialist in Tobacoville

The Senior Formula Mix Specialist is responsible for coordinating the production of Top Dressings, Concentrates,

Processing Aids, E-Liquids and Specialty Items.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  •  Manufacturing & Quality Execution: Weigh, mix, sample, adjust, prepare, and package IMS blends in accordance with production schedules, R&D specifications, ISO documentation, IMS Training Manuals, GMPs, and quality standards.
  • Systems & Data Management: Maintain working knowledge of MES, Ignition Process Control, SAP, and MS Office; enter, review, and analyze data including COGIS/IDOCs and resolve system errors.
  • Equipment, Calibration & Housekeeping: Perform scale calibration verifications; maintain cleanliness and integrity of equipment and work areas; document activities per IMS housekeeping and GMP requirements.
  • Inventory & Materials Management: Receive raw materials; lead monthly physical inventories; manage primary, secondary, contingency, non-production, and aging materials ensuring proper rotation, shelf-life compliance, and warehousing/receiving/shipping coordination.
  • Order Fulfilment & Logistics: Coordinate and process internal and external orders and shipments (e.g., Factory Service, Shorefair, BGTC, ASC), including returns to suppliers for non-conforming materials when concessions cannot be made.
  • Waste, EHS & Compliance: Coordinate IMS waste reporting and shipments with Procurement, Production Planning, and EHS; comply with environmental, health, safety, regulatory, and company standards; complete required EHS training and participate in site programs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interface effectively with Production Planning, Procurement, R&D Flavors, BGTC, Making & Packing, Maintenance, Brock Solutions, Trucking, Product Stewardship, and clerical teams; communicate clearly with peers and leadership.
  • Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement: Apply troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methods; operate industrial vehicles and ladders as required; perform other duties consistent with company policy and safety expectations.

What are we looking for?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and basic skills in MS Office computer applications
  • Three years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to operate Industrial forklift equipment
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, possess a high sense of urgency and a strong work ethic
  • Computer skills using a Process Control System (e.g. Ignition) and MS Office products (e.g. Word, Excel & Outlook).
  • Strong analytical, decision making and problem solving skills with an ability to recommend Continuous Improvements.
  • MES (Management Execution System) and SAP. Two years’ experience with formulating recipes.
  • Occasionally lift/position materials up to 30 kilos (66.139 lbs.) Regular attendance at work
