BAT KOREA IS LOOKING FOR A TRADE OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE
Reports to: TM&D Operations Manager
Location: Seoul, South Korea
ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
We are looking for seasoned Trade Operations Executive who can support and implement the multiple trade execution plan OTIF. The role scope covers multiple Trade execution plan and act as a single point of contact between KR Commercial team, Area, Head Office and Field to ensure a seamless implementation of trade execution initiatives that are in line with company strategies.
This is a self-starter role for someone who can lead the dedicated project with Cross-Functional team and effectively collaborate in a matrix organization. The role also required identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for synergy and innovation across the BAT group, optimizing channel systems and processes to drive both short-term and long-term business growth in alignment with company strategies.
Your Key Responsibilities will include:
- Develop & ensure OTIF delivery of each trade execution plan including new product launch, new trade initiatives, etc.
- Coordinate End to End project delivery with cross-functions from initial strategy / product readiness to field execution brief
- As main PIC / budget holder of Trade Marketing & Development’s budget – track overall investment & driving healthier / sustainable spending across overall Trade Marketing & Development team
- Assess and communicate business performance of BAT(KPI) against the target.
- Support Trade Operations Manager to deliver ‘execution in excellence’ OTIF.
- Work closely with internal Trade Marketing & Development team members to understand / consolidate / counter-argue overall execution feasibility & solutions for each project delivery.
- Work closely with Operations team as main PIC for KR commercial team.
- Work closely with Marketing Finance Team as main Trade budget holder continuously managing & optimizing budget expenditure
- Assist Head of Trade for developing & driving channel strategies and optimization.
What are we looking for?
- A seasoned professional in Trade Marketing & Development (TM&D) area, with at least 3 years of experience in Marketing and successful career progression in national or multi-national (FMCG) matrix organization
- Strategic understanding of Company strategies, directions and business priorities.
- Solution-driven project management skill-set driving business needs & balancing project deployment
- Fast-learner driving comprehensive understanding and experience of managing project deployment E2E
- Adaptability & high volatility to fast-moving business discussion & actions navigating through and establishing guidelines to cross-functions
- Analytical capabilities utilizing consumer/customer data.
- Strong Skills in Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project)
- Effective communication, presentation, and influencing skills across functions, fluency in Korean & English
