British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for a Romania Security Systems and Resilience Coordinator in Bucharest!

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Constantly review and supervise the effectiveness of contracted-out security service and IT resources (e.g., alarm monitoring services, security systems maintenance suppliers etc.) and report to Country Security Manager any deviations from contractual terms and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist the Country Security Manager in security budget preparation according to applicable procedures.
  • Develop close working relationships and synergies with local BAT Supply Chain/Logistics/TM&D personnel, 3rd party logistics operators and security service providers to assist in the achievement of BAT RO business objectives.
  • Execute security action plans regarding supply chain security, asset and personnel protection, information security, and business continuity activities associated to area of responsibility (DC + allocated XD’s).
  • Execute security threat/risk assessments as per direction and guidance provided by Country Security Manager and propose, get approval, and deploy mitigating security measures to counter identified security threats/risks.
  • Maintain effective liaison at local level with relevant external stakeholders especially law enforcement authorities (e.g., Police) and security service providers to obtain practical and material assistance for the business.

  • Hight level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Good planning, coordination, and reporting skills, open mind attitude, capable of seeking opportunities for innovation and increasing efficiencies. Ability to work well under pressure and to organize substantial workload comprising diverse tasks and responsibilities. Possess clear, concise, and well-structured written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the rules and the applicable regulations regarding the security systems in Romania (Law 333/2003 on the protection of the objectives, goods, values, and protection of persons, as well as the application norms for Law 333).
  • Knowledge and skills necessary to coordinate activities such as operation, configuration, testing, evaluation, and verification of security systems (CCTV, IDS, access control) according to the technical provisions.
  • Good knowledge and experience of supply chain security in commercial sector
  • Experience in risk management, resilience, and business continuity
  • Ability to communicate competently in English
  • A valid driver’s license
