Training / IWS Officer role is a strategic investment for the EM to support PK IWS Manager in developing integrated Work System (IWS) as way of working, as well as build IWS talents pipeline for the future on the site. 
The expectation from the role is to coordinate the IWS progress in the factory, make sure the standards get executed, and result will continuously improve.  The role will work on building the self and teams capability for IWS community and him/herself through learn do, teach model. 
He/She will be responsible for embedding IWS Pillars and capability around the pillars, and departments. Lead the site towards IWS phase journey keeping major focus on Phase 3 for 2024 and 2025. Build technical mastery among technical teams and Equipment Owners (EOs) by providing the right training interventions and IWS tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports PK IWS Manager in tracking, monitoring, and performing analysis on improvement way forward for Compelling Business Need (CBN), ZERO LOSS JOURNEY (ZLJ) and master plan for site.
  • Drives for gains in productivity, quality and efficiency by embedding IWS Pillars across site
  • Extend IWS rollout across site 
  • Track current performance against COMPELLING BUSINESS NEED (CBN) for the site 
  • Support PK IWSM to maintain a professional and well-motivated team, and to ensure succession for all key positions - through the facilitation of appropriate training and development.
  • IWS Systems Implementation & deployment: Facilitate HODs in Daily/Weekly Quarterly Direction Setting Meetings in setting the right direction align to Compelling Business Need (CBN) And Zero Loss Journey (ZLJ).
  • Be responsible for the capability building of the factory and Ops team on IWS philosophy, pillars tools & systems and phase journey.
  • Support Education &Training Pillar for the site and develop Skill Matrix for all roles (including EOs) to identify the gaps in the capability
  • Support in deployment, and designing of Technical Ladder for Equipment Owners, and maintaining record of Skill Status for EOs, and guiding Team Leads on way forward to bridge the Skill Gap for next step in the Ladder 
  • Monitoring IWS implementation progress as BAU
  • Reporting IWS Pillar roll out progress vs plan by factory. Understand the barriers, and leverage PK IWS Manager to help removing the barrier.
  • Monitoring the IWS modules performance, deep diving into Loss Tree and finding the common losses for Unified Problem Solving projects. 
  • Conduct the IWS Health Checks / Pillar’s assessment, identify the gaps and develop an action plan to address the issues, and good practices get reapplied. 
  • Facilitate all level IWS DDS meetings (SDDS, Cell DDS, 90 days Action plans, Pillars meeting)
  • Track the gaps identified during Phase assessments on regular basis.
  • To develop an environment which seeks continuous improvement implementing PDCA.
  • To develop and implement: best practices, benchmark performances, common platforms, technology strategy, sharing experience/knowledge with IWS community and factories within Operations.
