ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Reports to: IDT Service Manager

Reporting Level: Manages Self

Geographic Scope: Selangor, Malaysia

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

Strategy & Planning

• Clear understanding of IDT Services standards (Network, Cloud & Data center, Technology integration, End User Services, GSAM and Raising remediation request), process and systems (i.e. CMDB, LEAN IX, Asset Management).
• Co-support with the development of IDT services program development office team strategy that support business goals.
• Running and performing gap analysis to identifying improvement and initiating projects to delivering world class of standardization and modernization.
• Ability to recommend business and technical solutions to improve operational efficiencies, effectiveness and simplifications based on data collection and diagnoses and its impact assessment
• Build business case based on the requirements with scope and recommended solutions, agreed targets of timeline and budget, mitigated risks and dependencies, and deliverables with clear achievements in collaboration with partners.
• Handles the program governance, maintains, supervises and reviews all program management records regularly to compliance. Closely working with Audit and Business Control Team to ensure projects process and deliverables are quality compliance.

Deployment

• Lead and ensure successful end to end delivery of the IDT service program with agreed time, cost and quality, on time in full.
• Update, maintain, and simplify the IDT Services capabilities and technology landscape to ensure optimal performance and alignment with updated standards.
• Manage to track project achievements, timelines, deliverables, budget and resources (forecast, actual, analysis and facilitate decision making etc) for IDT Service projects using appropriate tools.
• Adopt best practices and tools for project execution and management
• Manage to provide regular reports to executive leadership regarding project achievements, scope, schedule, budget, deliverables, risks, dependencies and blocking issue.
• Effective communications and building a positive relationship with collaborators.

Operational Management

• Ensure accurate and efficient tracking of IDT resources via IT systems (i.e. CMDB, Asset management, LEAN IX etc).
• Direct and handle project development from beginning to end.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
• Identify and run project dependencies and critical path.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• 8-10 years in Project/Programme Management.
• Project management / PMO / Planning / Portfolio management experience in a complex IDT environment.
• Experience with various project & portfolio management tools and project management or solution deployment methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, DevOps, etc).
• Solid grasp of IDT Services Process and Technical (Infra - Network, Cloud and Integration, Application).
• Ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to identify and handle risks, issues and challenging priorities or plan for mitigations
• Demonstrates the ability to proactively take account of people issues and build positive team dynamic.
• Strong planning and budgeting skills.
• Experience in large global organisation using in-sourced and out-sourced IT service providers.
• Strong vendor management and ability to extract maximum value with negotiation skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
