The purpose of this role is to support the Value Realization Office department in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives within the Global Business Services (GBS) at BAT. This role will assist in executing strategic objectives, identifying areas for process optimization, support implementation of improvement initiatives and analyzing project performance metrics. Additionally, the role will contribute to fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability across the team and stakeholders. This role aims to contribute to the achievement of business value and operational excellence within the GBS domain and ensure business continuity planning.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Support the Value Realization Office Lead in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives within the Global Business Services (GBS) at BAT. Exhibits leadership when engaging with key stakeholders through behaviors and attitudes; encourages and drives efficiencies and a positive working culture through effective collaboration.
• Spearhead initiatives to improve performance within BAT and across GBS, fostering a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging appropriate tools and resources for value creation.
• Drive simplified, scalable methods and solutions in identifying new opportunities for improvements. Covers knowledge-sharing sessions within the organization regarding continuous improvement (CI) methods.
• Support and coach service line representatives in delivering various improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate project evaluation, scoping and prioritization to ensure projects follow timelines, meet targets and adhere to established operating parameters.
• Facilitate data input, validation and reporting processes to provide status updates outlining performance for program and performance metrics. Adhere to and improve scalable reporting and dashboards for operational efficiency and performance monitoring.
• Create and communicate specific project performance insights to senior stakeholders.
• Serves as the custodian of the Business Continuity Model within GBS, ensuring adherence to established processes.

What are we looking for?

• Experience in Continuous Improvement (CI) models, specifically in Lean Six Sigma

• Certifications: Lean Six Sigma, Agile or Others, Project Management Certification (PMP or Prince2)
• 3+ years previous experience in a similar role or working as Project Manager/ Projects Portfolio Manager/ Business Analyst and handling multiple projects/tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to deliver independently, with limited guidance
•  Address barriers through problem solving, communication and active coordination
• High Proficiency for Excel and Power BI, MS Office applications
• Degree in an Economics, Statistics, Engineering or Business areas
