ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

We are seeking a dedicated Data Analyst to join our ambitious marketing team. At British American Tobacco, you will have the outstanding opportunity to craft and maintain our data infrastructure while managing the marketing data mapping process. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate, timely data that supports our business decisions and drives the company towards its targets. Your proven analytical skills will help us compete in the global market, and your ability to collaborate will foster an inclusive and innovative environment.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Maintain and manage the end market database to ensure flawless data analysis.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and determine and resolve any quality issues.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure data availability and integrity.
• Lead or assist with data management projects and successfully implement improvements.
• Analyse marketing data to support strategic business decisions and drive company targets.
• Maintaining robust data management policies, procedures and processes, and a robust control environment

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Degree in Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years working with large databases, with a consistent track record of data analysis.
• Advanced Excel reporting skills, strong analytical abilities
• Proficiency in German and English
• Diligent with a focus on accuracy, outstanding problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

BENEFICIAL

• Knowledge of multi-category data or the nicotine industry will be considered an asset.
• Experience with database software is an advantage.
