ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Join British American Tobacco as a Marketing Planning Coordinator to support our S&OP process and play a role in shaping our marketing strategies. Coordination of forecasts preparation for reporting purposes, escalation & issue resolution function to ensure efficient support for End markets planning team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate, timely data that supports our business decisions and drives the company towards its targets. Your proven analytical skills will help us compete in the global market, and your ability to collaborate will foster an inclusive and innovative environment.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Contribute to Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process and support forecast preparation.
  • Use & maintain comprehensive, integrated and largely automated volume reporting tool to respond to all relevant reporting requirements in the most effective and efficient way.
  • Analyse factors driving business performance and participate in the development of forecasts.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and support the Integrated Business Planning Model (IBPM) cycle.
  • Support the process of volume projections analysis by providing valuable insights
  • Prepare detailed materials for comprehensive reporting.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Degree in Business, Statistics, or Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years in Marketing, Finance, or Demand Planning
  • Experience in demand planning methodologies and with forecasting techniques
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel including proficiency in data analysis, modeling and forecasting.
  • Experience with SAP or a similar system is a benefit.
  • Strong presentation skills with analytical attitude and a creative problem-solving approach
  • Proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
