ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
We are seeking a dedicated Marketing Planning Manager to join our dynamic team at British American Tobacco. This is an outstanding opportunity to drive the S&OP process & strategy development via solid business planning. You will have a pivotal role in cooperation with Area Leadership Team and key above market stakeholders for providing consolidated monthly S&OP inputs and outputs/ reports, supporting process optimization efforts, developing and maintaining an automated volume reporting platform for Central Europe.
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Provide the consolidated monthly S&OP inputs and outputs/ reporting across all Area markets to the Area Leadership team as well as key Area, local and above market stakeholders on time in full.
- Develop, maintain and continuously optimize a comprehensive, integrated and largely automated volume reporting tool to respond to all relevant reporting requirements in the most effective and efficient way. Drive simplification/ complexity reduction in processes and ways of working.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between local Forecasting & Planning teams, Growth Management, Corporate Finance, Insights & Foresights, Supply Chain, Operations and other relevant departments. Act as a bridge to ensure seamless information flow and coordination across the organization.
- Act as Single Point of Contact for all S&OP-related inquiries from above market stakeholders.
- Support the Area Head of Forecasting & Planning in designing, implementing and continuously enhancing the S&OP processes to ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Drive team synergy and satisfaction, guide the Marketing Planning team and provide feedback for performance improvement and develop the resources into successful leaders
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Statistics, Marketing, Finance or equivalent field
- Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant working experience in Marketing or Finance functions within a multinational FMCG company.
- Proven experience in S&OP, demand planning and/ or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Proficiency in demand planning methodologies and with forecasting techniques
- Outstanding critical thinking, detail orientation with a focus on accuracy, effective communication skills, experience in managing team.
- Proficient in English.
- Advanced Excel skills
