ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
Reporting to the HR Business Partner - SC, the role holder will play a leading role in driving & implementation of IR Strategies and developing / maintaining conducive employee relations atmosphere. The role holder will be involved in maintaining a progressive relationship with the Unions in all areas of negotiation and Consultation. In addition, the individual will provide guidance and advice to the entire business on labor law/practice, employee welfare and discipline & grievance issues.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Act as a first point of contact for all Industrial Relation matters inclusive of employee welfare and facilities
- Facilitate HRBP - SC during CBA negotiations and play a key role in concluding it on a win/win note while incorporating all agreed productivity targets and initiatives.
- Responsible for keeping Management and CBA abreast of the trends and changes in labour legislation and provide guidance for timely compliance.
- Ensure timely compilation of Workers Annual Assessments and Lead & manage all in-house Training & education Programs for Workers by initiating a close liaison with OSDM & Head of Departments for carrying out complete training need analysis of employees and guidance in setting strategy and prioritizing the training inputs for the unit.
- Arrange forums or seminars to update line managers on labour laws / policy. To ensure that employees issues are handled in a fair and equitable manner, both procedural and substantive fairness.
- Make continuous efforts for education of C.B.A members and to keep them informed about changes in Company Plans, initiatives for productivity improvement and future Company objectives.
- . Understand & utilize the different sourcing channels available i.e. direct sourcing vs. agency recruitment and activates them as appropriate.
- Utilizes the selection and assessment processes and tools for Workers, apprentices and junior level recruitment.
- Assist HRBP in producing reliable and relevant management information by analysing sourcing data such as turnover, retention and new hires and suggests appropriate course of action.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Sound educational background preferably Masters in Business Management and well versed with new HR Concepts. Possess strong administrative skills to effectively handle day to day problems in a constantly changing environment. Possess wide business knowledge to understand corporate objectives and to be able to establish clear goals and direction consistent with the Company's vision mission and strategy.
- High learning agility coupled with sound knowledge of Labour Laws. Relevant experience of Collective Bargaining in an industrial environment.
- Sound interpersonal skills e.g. influencing, communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with all levels of staff within the company and externally.
- Better understanding of the labour law to enable him to provide correct and timely legal advice to all the departments for avoiding labour disturbances. Effective and prompt communication link with the management and the C.B.As to quickly address IR issue if any.
- Timely resolution of individual or collective grievances agitated by the C.B.A. and ensure that such resolutions are in conformity with the Company policy, labour laws and existing work practices.
- Ability to educate the C.B.A. members regarding Company Plans to ensure that the Company objectives are achieved.
- Ensure quality recruitment for manning requirement as per plan and ability to forecast and manage budgets effectively.
- Multi-linguistic, fluency of Pushto is preferable
- Five to Six years of experience of Collective Bargaining in an industrial environment and sound knowledge of labour Laws
