Ceylon Tobacco Company has an exciting opportunity for a Route to Market Executive in Colombo
We are seeking dynamic and enthusiastic candidates to join our Marketing & Commercial function as Route To Market Executive. In this role, you will support and enable the RTM strategy and business model, ensuring strong visibility of core RTM metrics. You will work closely with the Distribution Development Manager to drive and deliver RTM efficiency projects, while contributing to the development and optimization of A&TMD tools including SFA and BI to enable data-driven decision making.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support and enable the Route to Market (RTM) strategy and business model, ensuring visibility and tracking of core RTM metrics.
- Collaborate closely with the Distribution Development Manager to drive and deliver RTM efficiency and improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and optimization of A&TMD supporting tools, including SFA and BI, to strengthen data-driven decision making.
- Continuously review and challenge existing processes, practices, and methods to ensure they remain relevant, efficient, and fit for purpose in supporting business teams.
- Drive the streamlining and simplification of RTM-related processes to improve overall effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Proactively identify opportunities to reduce complexity within the RTM framework.
- Act as the custodian of the SFA management system and other BI tools, optimizing system utilization to enhance insights and decision-making.
What are we looking for?
- Degree, or a recognized professional qualification from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales, distribution or marketing is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
