British American Tobacco Vietnam has an exciting opportunity for a Trade Finance Manager
The Trade Finance Manager plays a meaningful role in partnering with commercial and distribution teams to manage trade investments, distributor-related costs, financial planning, and performance reporting. This role provides valuable financial insights to support business decisions, strengthen governance, and ensure effective allocation of resources.
In this role, you will work with cross-functional team members to assist with financial planning, forecasting, assessing commercial performance, and improving processes in a dynamic business setting.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Partner with commercial teams to develop trade investment plans, financial models, and business cases aligned with strategic priorities.
- Manage trade investment reconciliation processes and collaborate with distribution partners on financial adjustments and settlements.
- Supervise trade and distribution costs, providing analysis and recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and target-setting activities across commercial operations.
- Analyze distributor, channel, and customer performance to support informed business decisions.
- Ensure effective financial controls, governance, and compliance across distribution-related activities.
- Lead period-end closing activities and prepare management reports, performance analysis, and strategic insights for senior stakeholders.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve the efficiency of financial processes, reporting capabilities, and decision support tools.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional accounting qualifications are advantageous.
- Minimum of two years' management-level experience in commercial finance, financial planning and analysis, business partnering, or accounting, preferably within a multinational organization.
- Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to translate data into practical business recommendations and commercial insights.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
- Effective communication and stakeholder leadership skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP is an advantage.
- Proactive, adaptable approach capable of managing multiple priorities and deadline
