BAT Indonesia has an exciting opportunity for an IR & ER Executive role in Malang, Indonesia.
This role plays a critical part in managing industrial relations, ensuring compliance with Indonesian labor laws, and supporting a harmonious and legally compliant work environment.
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
- Negotiate Collective Bargaining Agreements (CLA/PKB) and handle disputes with trade unions and individual employees.
- Ensure all internal regulations (PP) and company practices align with Indonesian labor laws (UU Ketenagakerjaan).
- Act as a mediator to resolve employee grievances and misconduct internally before they advance to legal action.
- Lead interactions with government agencies (MoM/Disnaker, BPJS) and labor inspectors.
- Develop and update company policies, procedures, and disciplinary protocols to align with both business goals and legal requirements.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, HR Managementor other relevant fields
- At least 5 years of experience in human resources, particularly in industrial relations.
- Strong legal knowledge, negotiation, conflict resolution, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of Indonesian labour legislation.
