Product Developer Technical Support

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Assist with the assigned development activities (CAP1, continuous improvement, regulatory etc.).
• Assist with the product specifications and recipes approval in TaO system (Open-Source e-Testing platform) according to project lead times and product requirements.
• Ensure development data sheets are uploaded in the product compliance system, in accordance with the product compliance processes.
• Deliver an assigned portfolio of projects and activities within the product deployment plan which requires the coordination of internal and external partners in alignment with the Product Development Manager to support delivery of the commercial vision for the product.
• Promote and integrate ways of working within the Heated Product CoE team.
• Assist with the development and deployment activities for the assigned responsibilities within the team.
• Assist with implementation of new and modified products at factory level, through specifications in SAP.
• Assist with quality and consistency of product specifications through tracking of monthly analytical results and propose corrective actions where required (with the guidance of Senior Expert).
• Act as key contact point for manufacturing to support trials, new product implementations and monitoring of performance data in collaboration with the quality department.
• Assist with product specification maintenance in accordance with product quality and factory quality analysis.
• Track and monitor budget spend for development activities within the assigned responsibilities/projects in the cell.
• Monitor and review progress of the development projects against the agreed timeline.
• Assists in sample preparation for proof of concept.
• Supporting Heated Product sensory single point of contact (SPOC) to prepare and arrange the sensory evaluation for Heated Product and collecting the panelist data to review.
• Perform the record management of the samples received from End Market and planning for sample disposal when it required.
• Gathering lab analysis data and ensure the files are updated.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• At least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferably in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)
• Prior working experience in the relevant field would be a plus – (i.e: Product Specification, Product, Packaging, Lab, Chemical)
• Good IT skills including proficiency at using MS Office
• Good verbal and writing capabilities in English
• Experience in technical report writing, laboratory, preparation of sample would be additional advantage
• Good analytical skills and experience in statistics, good attention to detail
• Technical competence and applied science background to support development projects.
• Relevant technical experience in product development and product formulation with associated high-level problem-solving skills.
• Qualifications equivalent to 1st or 2nd Degree within STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) subjects would be a plus
• Ability to deliver against a portfolio of tasks within defined timescales
• Self-motivated, proactive with good time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate
• Product design related problem-solving skills
