British American Tobacco Brazilhas an exciting opportunity for an IT Technology Services Manager in São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro.
Responsible for ensuring operational excellence, availability, and continuous improvement of core Technology Services across Network and Local Data Center. This position collaborates with global and regional IT teams, external suppliers, and business partners to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and maintain compliance with governance frameworks.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the delivery, stability, and continuous improvement of WAN, LAN, WiFi (Cisco/Meraki).
- Oversee Local Data Center operations/support including compute, storage (NETAPP/HP), VMware, server OS lifecycle (Windows/Linux), backup execution (Arcserve), and recovery readiness.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance, contracts, and SLA adherence for network and data center services.
- Analyze service performance and structured root cause analysis data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Manage capacity and usage of infrastructure, adjusting services accordingly.
- Maintain strong relationships with business unit directors, managers, and external vendors; acting as point of contact for TSM services related issues and escalations.
- Plan and implement service level improvements based on structured feedback from users and stakeholders.
- Lead initiatives to improve service delivery processes and enhance customer satisfaction and promote user-centric innovation.
- Identify and deploy automation and AI-enabled insights to enhance service management, monitoring improvements, stability and delivery.
- Manage capacity and delivery plan (internal and external teams), as well as running cost and project budget of the area.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. ITIL certification is highly desirable.
- 10+ years of experience in IT service management or a related role with proven experience leading Network and/or Data Center operations.
- Experience working in multi‑country, matrixed, or global environments.
- Experience in managing SLAs, dashboards, vendor relationships, and infrastructure project management, particularly in coordinating with global teams.
- Knowledge of observability tools and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
