What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?
- Manage the activities of the Corporate Affairs team with a focus on developing communication materials, including key messages, briefing documents, and other corporate affairs assets to support internal and external communications

Proactively support Corporate Affairs Manager in managing of the corporate affairs activities as well as media management
- Manage media inquiries and corporate communications
- Prepare press releases and media conferences
- Act as one of BATs spokesperson for media and public
- Prepare content and background information for interviews, key company messages, and corporate positions
- Monitor press reports, manage media clippings, and corporate newsletters
- Manage and work closely with media agency to ensure appropriate communication of company key messages
- Implement corporate and marketing communication campaigns in line with corporate brand guidelines
- Manage and update internal and external corporate websites
- Plan and organize activities for internal and public events
- Manage internal media training
- Work in close collaboration with the legal team on all matters which entail reputational aspect
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
ESSENTIAL
Experience Required
- Professional experience with at least 4-10 years of relevant communications / media / public relations
- Working experience in either a PR Agency or a multinational FMCG company preferred
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
- In-depth understanding of the media landscape and strong relationships with journalists
- Good knowledge of relevant local media landscape and the political environment
- Excellent organizational skills: ability to manage tasks in timely manner
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, incl. presentation skills
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills, ability to manage budget
- Ability to research and produce high quality written documents
- Proficiency in written and spoken Korean and English
- Creative and enquiring mind: preferably extrovert and intuitive
- Good interpersonal and team skills
- Ability to handle multitude of projects and issues at one time
- Proficient in MS Office
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
