What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?
This role is to deliver all the merchandising plans and campaigns in line with yearly trade marketing cycle plans.

- POSM Development and Cycle Execution
- Review and deliver merchandising solutions and create an environment in which s/he aims for continuous improvement through searching for development of new opportunities
- Manage and work cohesively with external vendors to drive cycle and trade activities execution OTIF
- Support MD Solutions Manager in the development of effective activation techniques for consumer communication at the point of sale, grounded into shopper motivation/behaviour and opportunities/constraints in different channels
- Support MD Solutions Manager in development of MD plans in line with yearly trade cycle plans for key missiles, with clear line of sight objectives- Hardware
- Retail landscape planning
- New merchandising solution development
- Local deal management (support cross functional contract changes, etc.)
- Cycle POSM
- E2E Cycle POSM development and execution (inc. QC and Sample review)
- Cycle POG principle and Touch Point strategy planning
- POSM Delivery and Inventory Management
- Keep track of POSM inventory and request replenishment when required for both hardware and cycle POSM
- Request and follow up on monthly AS/Refurbishment on hardware POSM and share results with respective teams as per demand
- Ensure on time delivery of merchandising solutions including development of hardware with the highest quality design and technical specifications and deployment of POSM to respective markets/areas per cycle activities
- Data and Reporting
- Collect and organize store performance according to POSM placement
- Reporting of Hardware movement, AS, Refurbishment and more on a weekly/monthly basis
- Monitor basic KPIs (ie. POSM display status, stock levels, etc) on a monthly basis to the team and upload on the main dashboard
- Conduct regular market visits to observe competitor displays, pricing, and promotions and identify basic opportunities to improve visibility and share simple insights for decision-making
- Administrative Tasks
- Assist merchandising and/or trade team for internal review and/or presentations for each cycle
- OTIF PO process delivery (from raising PO to GR/IR of all merchandising related tasks)
- POSM Room management
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
ESSENTIAL
Experience Required
- At least 3 - 5 years’ experience in trade marketing related roles within BAT or other FMCG company
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
- Must Have
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and multiple projects, often with tight deadlines
- Proven track record of on time in full delivery
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Korean as well as good teamwork skills
- High level of attention to detail with strong ownership and ability to stay organized
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (ie. Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc)
- Interest in retail, merchandising, and/or marketing operations
- Good to Have
- Ability to work proactively to identify trends, issues and opportunities and find the supporting data to create compelling commercial stories and recommendations
- Solid analytical skills and understanding of market and customer dynamics
- Ability to translate customer dynamics into commercial selling tools
- Ability to influence and demonstrate persuasion skills
