BAT Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Finance Manager in Sydney.
The Commercial Finance Lead partners closely with the business to deliver commercial budgets and key performance indicators, enabling balanced growth through insightful financial and non-financial analysis.
This role influences strategic decision-making while ensuring strong governance, SOX compliance, and audit readiness. Finance Business Partners will primarily support Marketing Commercial and Revenue Growth Management functions, while remaining closely aligned with the broader Finance organisation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing pricing strategies
- Delivery of commercial budget through collaboration with Commercial Marketing team
- Management of customer credit risk in conjunction with OTC COE
- Management of Total Marketing Investment in conduction with Commercial Finance COE
- Comply to our governance and compliance culture to ensure an operating environment with the appropriate controls and dedication to deliver high standards of corporate governance and integrity
- Effective stakeholder management and collaborate cross functionally to achieve best outcome for the business
- Encouraging inclusive culture of collaboration and learning within own team and cross functionally

What are we looking for?
- Degree educated with professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MBA)
- At least 4 years experiences in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment
- Uses insight and foresight to drive decisions
- Experience dealing with external stakeholders
- Detailed understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, i.e. SAP/BPC/Excel
- Broad experience in large global organisation with in-depth knowledge in specific FMCG process areas
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness
- Strong influencing, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in strategic analysis & planning and execution, performance metrics, project evaluation and commercial acumen.
- Ability to simplify complex situations and synthesise, communicate, and present complex information
- Insightful, comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, pro-active, collaborative, and consultative
