British American Tobacco Poland has an exciting opportunity for a Area Commercial Finance Manager in Warsaw
The Area Commercial Finance Manager – Central Europe reports to the Area Head of Commercial Finance. They are responsible for driving revenue performance, profitability, and efficient prioritization throughout the Central European region. Acting as a key finance business partner to Area leadership and Country finance teams, the role delivers forward‑looking financial insights to support pricing, investment, and portfolio decisions. The position plays a critical role in ensuring well-adapted commercial execution aligned with area strategy and value creation objectives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support the Area Commercial Finance team in driving the Revenue Management and resource allocation agenda across Central Europe
- Own monthly and quarterly commercial delivery dashboards, providing volume–price–mix and NTO analysis versus forecast and SOP assumptions, and feeding insights into the S&OP process to support commercial decision‑making
- Lead the competitor reporting process for the Central Europe area
- Support and conduct TCI reviews at Area level
- Support Pricing and Excise management for the Area, including cross‑category price index analysis
- Support the evaluation and effective management of marketing investments across 10 Central European markets (Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia) and 4 product categories (Combustibles, Heating Products, Vapour, Modern Oral) to support delivery of strategic objectives
- Act as a point of contact for knowledge sharing and alignment across the CE Area on processes related to revenue management, competitor reporting, and marketing investment governance
- Partner with Growth Capabilities teams to embed new concepts into business‑as‑usual resource allocation processes
- Identify, assess, and where appropriate implement efficiency improvements and automation opportunities
- Proactively engage with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met and relationships continuously strengthened
What are we looking for?
- Educated to degree level with relevant professional qualification considered as an asset (CA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment.
- Broad experience in large global organisation ideally with commercial finance background.
- Good Influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Strong strategic analysis, planning and execution skills with excellent commercial acumen.
- Ability to simplify complex situations, synthesize, communicate, and present complex information. Insightful, comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, pro-active, collaborative, and consultative.
