British American Tobacco Bangladesh has an exciting opportunity for an AIT Analyst - Insights
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collect, analyze and manage market data on illicit trade to support AIT activities.
- Use data and research to create clear reports and insights on illicit trade trends.
- Support AIT strategy by analyzing internal and external research data.
- Ensure all AIT work follows BAT policies and local & international laws.
- Work with Finance, Marketing, Operations and IDT teams to improve measurement and reporting.
- Monitor local and global media for AIT‑related news and issues.
- Support and represent the AIT team in local and regional forums.
- Help plan and deliver AIT awareness, compliance and training programs.
- Support law enforcement training sessions and workshops.
- Help develop campaign materials such as training content, handbooks and newsletters.
- Track the impact of campaigns and suggest improvements.
- Research new tools and technologies to support detection and enforcement.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Legal, Finance or a related field.
- Experience or interest in research, data analysis or insights generation.
- Basic to moderate understanding of compliance, regulations or policy‑driven work.
- Ability to work with data and reports to explain insights clearly.
- Comfortable working with cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to work with government or law enforcement bodies.
- Strong communication skills clear writing and confident speaking.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑changing environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a complex, regulated market.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills.
