British American TobaccoIberia has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Representative in Tenerife
Perform all brand & trade cycle plan activities with excellence in execution to drive SOM growth, IMS volume and brand activations in the outlets to influence in consumers moment of truth. Establish close engagement with retailers and staff in order to gain trade support and loyalty for BAT brands. Trade Marketing reps are the image of the company and must be able to transmit BAT values and culture.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Perform Trade and Brand Marketing programs (Distribution, Display & Dialogue) in alignment with the cycle plan, ensuring excellence in execution within the assigned territory.
- Ensure optimal distribution and stock management of the BAT portfolio at each outlet to support Share of Market (SOM) growth.
- Maintain and update outlet databases (via Petra System or California), ensuring accuracy, ownership, and reliability of trade information.
- Implement the Trade Coverage Plan (TCP) by adhering to agreed coverage, call frequency, and itinerary as per the Area Sales Manager’s guidelines.
- Identify sales opportunities across all channels in the territory and develop actionable plans to drive growth.
- Engage key business partners to foster strong trade relationships, increase support and loyalty, and enhance market insights.
- Monitor competitor activity and market intelligence, reporting on new product introductions (NPIs) and activations, and recommending responsive strategies.
- Manage operational tasks responsibly, including reporting fuel, parking, and vehicle stock costs, maintaining system records, and conforming with all internal procedures and EHS regulations.
What are we looking for?
- Approximately 1/2 years experience in trade marketing/sales department and in FCMG.
