British American Tobacco Austria has an exciting opportunity for a Social Media & PR Executivein Vienna.
ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
The Social Media Executive is responsible for implementing the brand’s social media strategy across platforms, ensuring consistent storytelling, strong engagement, and alignment with broader marketing objectives. The role also supports influencer collaborations, event coverage, and the amplification of offline activations into impactful digital content.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage day‑to‑day social media and PR activities, ensuring a consistent tone of voice, visual identity, and brand messaging across all channels.
- Coordinate content creation and storytelling, working with agencies, PR partners, influencers, photographers, videographers, and internal teams.
- Manage influencer and PR collaborations, supporting campaigns, media partnerships, results, and performance supervising together with agencies.
- Support events, launches, and activations, providing live social coverage and coordinating PR amplification before, during, and after key moments.
- Track performance and optimize results, monitoring social media, influencer, and PR KPIs and turning insights into improvement actions.
What are we looking for?
- 2–4 years of experience in social media or a related role, with hands‑on experience managing brand channels, influencers, and digital campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of key social platforms and trends (e.g., Instagram, social media tools), with a good eye for visuals and brand storytelling.
- Well‑organized and adaptable, able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Analytical and committed to outcomes, comfortable tracking performance and using insights to improve content and campaigns.
- Professional fluency German and fluent English (spoken and written) – required, with strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset.
