REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Director Enterprise Change Managementin Winston-Salem, NC

The Senior Director – Enterprise Change Management will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of our transformation agenda. This role leads and manages enterprise-wide change initiatives to enable sustainable business transformation and the achievement of long-term strategic priorities.

The role partners closely with senior leadership, project teams, and stakeholders across Reynolds’ functions to drive engagement, communication, and adoption of new ways of working, accountabilities, processes, and systems. The focus is on embedding change that builds future-ready capabilities, strengthens organizational effectiveness, and delivers lasting business impact.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Change Strategy Development

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy aligned to the transformation agenda.
  • Design end-to-end change architecture that connects strategy to behaviour, ensuring transformation is adopted and sustained.
  • Identify potential risks, resistance points, and adoption barriers; develop targeted mitigation and engagement strategies.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Engage senior leadership and key stakeholders to ensure alignment, ownership, and advocacy for transformation initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops, leadership forums, and engagement sessions to communicate the vision, priorities, and business outcomes of those initiatives.

Communication

  • Partner with Communications teams to design and execute a strategic change communication plan aligned to transformation priorities.
  • Shape clear, compelling, and consistent messaging across channels to inform, engage, and mobilize employees.
  • Maintain transparent, frequent communication to reinforce progress, build trust, and sustain momentum.
  • Strengthen stakeholder confidence and drive enterprise-wide alignment and collaboration.

Training and Capability Development

  • Define and oversee capability-building strategies to equip employees with the skills required for future ways of working.
  • Partner with HR and Learning & Development to ensure learning solutions are aligned to transformation priorities and business needs

Change Implementation

  • Lead the execution of transformation initiatives across the organization, ensuring alignment across teams and delivery against defined outcomes.
  • Monitor progress, risks, and adoption metrics; provide regular, insight-driven updates to senior leadership.

Support and Coaching

  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders, managers, and teams to effectively lead and navigate change.
  • Address challenges and barriers to adoption, ensuring sustained engagement throughout the transformation journey.

Measurement and Evaluation

  • Define and track success metrics and KPIs to measure adoption, effectiveness, and business impact of change initiatives.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments to identify improvement opportunities and strengthen future transformation efforts.

Leadership

  • Lead through change by articulating a clear vision, inspiring ownership, and fostering accountability.
  • Model leadership behaviours aligned to our company values, including enterprise thinking, adaptability, and continuous improvement.

Structured Change Management Approach

  • Apply a structured, scalable change management methodology to ensure consistency, rigor, and measurable outcomes.

Dedicated Change Management Capability

  • Enable and deploy focused change resources and capabilities to drive successful transformation at scale.

Support for People Managers

  • Equip and support people managers to lead their teams effectively through change, reinforcing accountability for adoption and engagement.

What are we looking for?

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field
  • Proven experience leading change management in large-scale, enterprise transformation programs
  • Strong expertise in change management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
  • Ability to operate effectively across diverse teams and complex stakeholder environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Change management certification (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) preferred

The following is a general summary of the competitive compensation and benefit plans we offer:

  • 401(k) plan that offers opportunity to save on pre- and post-tax basis up to 50 percent of eligible compensation.
    • Company matches 100 percent of employee pre-tax/Roth (401k) contributions up to six percent
    • Company contributes an additional three percent to 401(k) whether employee participates or not
